Indiana Fever are all set for the 2025 WNBA season. The Caitlin Clark side is one of the favorites for the title, as the front office has added more ammunition to the roster in the off season. Fever, who went on to finish in 6th place last season, had quite a revealing season.
Things turned around for good after years of mediocrity. Fever drafted highly talented Caitlin Clark as their first pick and have never looked back. Clark led the side through a massive stage of improvement. Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell also complemented the side well and the trio managed to take their side into the playoffs for the first time in years.

However, having only three contributors without much help from the bench is a recipe for disaster. Connecticut Suns knocked the Indiana Fever out from the first round with a 93-69, and 87-81 win. The front office noticed the need for upgrading the side beyond the core players and acquired some strong profiles.
Now Indiana Fever, with a stacked squad and healthy core players, will look to achieve the best in the business. The question also remains if Caitlin Clark can sustain the weight of expectations after her Rookie of the Year season last year.

Fever made many moves in the off season. They first resigned Kelsey Mitchell. Natasha Howard was signed on a one-year deal from free agency, while DeWanna Bonner was also brought through free agency for her experience. Sophie Cunningham was acquired through a multi team trade deal. Her power to stretch the floor and shooting capability acts as a reduction to Clark’s burden.
Sydney Colson, known for ball handling skills, was traded from the Las Vegas Aces, bolstering both perimeter defense and shooting. Briana Turner was another attacking talent who joined the Indiana Fever. To strengthen the defense, the front office moved to bring Jaelyn Brown. From their three 2025 WNBA draft picks, the Fever chose Makayala Timpson, Bree Hall, and Yvonne Ejim.
