The Caitlin Clark Effect Continues- Indiana Fever’s Regular Season Tickets Outprice Pacers Playoff and Regular Season Games

Eric D

Indiana Pacers

The 2025 NBA Playoffs has been extremely fun to watch so far. We’ve had some of the most expected teams win the series thus far, and some of the favorite teams to win the NBA finals have already been knocked out off the competition. The final four now consists of Minnesota Timberwolves vs winner of Thunder/Nuggets (headed to Game 7), and we now have the New York Knicks play against the Indiana Pacers, where both of these teams haven’t been to the NBA Finals in a long time. Talking about the Pacers, we always knew how good they were, but now they have a chance to reach the NBA Finals for the first time in 25 years.

The Pacers knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round, the No.1 seeded Cleveland Cavaliers from the second round, and have now reached the Eastern Conference Finals in back-to-back years. While they may not have the a true superstar yet, they are showing that a team doesn’t need 3-4 All-Star level players to win basketball games, and instead it’s been all about great coaching from Rick Carlisle, and the role players doing exactly what they are supposed to. Tyrese Haliburton, rated as the most overrated player in the NBA by anonymous NBA players, simply stated is far from overrated, and if you can take your team to the conference finals in back-to-back years, there’s little to no chance of the player being overrated.

Indiana Fever

The WNBA regular season is here, and things have only become even more interesting this season. College hoopers such as Paige Bueckers, Dominique Malonga, and Kiki Iriafen, the rookies, bring a lot of excitement to the game. While we will not have the privilege to watch Diana Taurasi and Elena Delle Donne anymore, as they announced their retirements from the game, there are certain young stars to keep an eye out for. And one that specifically turns everyone’s heads is Caitlin Clark.

Clark is the fan favorite amongst many fans from across the world, and there is not a single player in the WNBA history, that has moved the needle in such large fashion. The swagger, the game, the mental toughness is all something that Clark already has an the fans love to watch her play.

Fever Tickets Surge: Outpacing Pacers Playoff and Regular Season Prices

Last year, when Caitlin Clark played, whether it was during her college days or for the Fever, the tickets were nearly sold out every single. And this season, the Caitlin Clark effect seems to have continued to be on a similar path. According to Front Office Sports, the average ticket price for Indiana Fever tickets for the regular season is set at $149. However, the Pacers’ average price tickets through two rounds of playoffs was $131, which is 18 more dollars.

Despite everything, nobody can deny the individual greatness, and star power of Caitlin Clark as she is arguably the first female basketball player to have a lot of fame in just year 2. While the Pacers are playing great, fans should also catch up to their playoff series against the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals
