Aaron Gordon to Miss Out Game 7 Due to Hamstring Injury!

Aaron Gordon’s hamstring injury came at the wrong time when Denver will fight out for winners-take-all game in Ohio on Sunday. The 29-year-old grabbed his left hamstring in the fourth quarter and hobbled through the last few minutes in Game 6 on Thursday night.

During the post-game, Denver’s interim head coach David Adelman called Gordon “the reason why we’ve won games and won series and have a banner hanging up.” Even Gordon is hopeful to get fit for Game 7.

Gordon has been a vital figure for the Nuggets. He dropped a 3-pointer in the final seconds of Game 1 to help Nuggets beat Thunder 121-119. The 4th pick from the 2024 NBBA draft played a big role in his team’s crucial first-round victory over the Clippers. He scored a buzzer-beating dunk in Game 4 and hit a 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds remaining in Game 1. In both games, the Nuggets clinched the win and took a crucial lead.

As per Dr. Evan Jeffries, Gordon might be out for an extended period. In Grade I, he could be out for a couple of weeks and in Garde II, the Nuggets forward will take three to six weeks to recover. If it’s serious, Nuggets will surely miss him in West finals if they quality o Sunday.

There is no official update on Gordon’s unavailability for Game 7 and everything will be clear after seeing Denver’s injury report for Saturday’s matchup. Game 7 will be played on Sunday at 3:30 PM ET and the 29-year-old forward would get a one more day to recover from hamstring injury. If Denver secures a win on Sunday, they will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
