LeBron James delivered back-to-back 30-point games to break Michael Jordan's long-standing record.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar LeBron James keeps creating NBA records game after game and Friday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks was no different. LeBron, who turned 40 last week, made history by becoming the all-time leader in 30-point games. The 4-time MVP broke Michael Jordan’s long-standing record with his 563rd 30-point game in Lakers’ 119-102 win over Hawks.
After tying MJ’s record on Thursday in Lakers win over Portland Trailblazers, LeBron produced another masterclass on Friday, dropping 30 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists as Lakers made it 5 wins out of their last 6 games.
While LeBron breaking MJ’s record is an incredible achievement, he wasn’t the fastest to reach this milestone. It took LeBron 451 more games than the Chicago Bulls legend to reach it.
