Green Bay Packers Schedule for 2026-27 NFL Season – Packers Strength of Schedule Analysis, Odds for Super Bowl 61, Conference Winner Odds, and Division Winner Odds

Devavrat Kulkarni

The Packers have the third most difficult schedule but the fifth best Super Bowl odds for the 2026-27 season!

For the Green Bay Packers and their fanbase, it was a bizarre end to the 2025-26 NFL season. The team started the season 5-1-1 through the first eight weeks of the season. The Packers remained in prime position in the NFC North with a 9-3-1 record through Week 14 before suddenly collapsing to a 4-game losing streak to end their regular season with a 9-7-1 record.

Despite making the playoffs, the Packers lost their fifth consecutive game in the Wild Card round. That came after holding a 21-3 lead at the half over the Bears, which they blew after allowing Chicago to score 25 points in the fourth quarter.

The Packers ranked just outside the top ten in scoring defense, allowing 21.2 points per game last season. However, the offense wasn’t all that great as they put up just about 23 points per game.

Prior to the start of the season, many felt this was the year Jordan Love and the Packers might go on a deep run, and that thought gained more momentum following the Micah Parsons trade just ahead of the season opener. Unfortunately, though, that was not the case.

Green Bay Packers Schedule for 2026-27 NFL Season

As part of the NFC, the Green Bay Packers will be playing 9 games at home this season, while the remaining 8 games will be on the road. Of the 17 game-regular season slate for the Packers, 6 of their games will come against their divisional opponents, the Lions, Bears, and Vikings.

Then, they will play 4 games each against one AFC division and one NFC division. As per the league’s rotation policy, this year the NFC North teams will play against the NFC South and the AFC East.

The remaining three games will be played against the second-placed teams from the NFC East, NFC West, and the AFC South since the Packers finished second in their division last season.

Packers Strength of Schedule Analysis and Prediction for 2026-27 NFL Season

Strength of Schedule Analysis

The Green Bay Packers will have a very tough schedule as per the teams they are set to play and how they fared in the 2025-26 season. Sources indicate a (.538) as their strength of schedule for the upcoming season, placing the Packers in joint third spot just behind the Bears, and the Dolphins, and tied with the Cardinals.

Green Bay already finds itself in one of the tightest divisions in the league. The Bears are on the rise, and they were the team that beat the Packers in the Wild Card round last season. The Lions have become a strong contender in the NFC under Dan Campbell, while the Vikings are expected to strike back sooner rather than later.

Apart from that, Green Bay’s other opponents that made the postseason last year include the Panthers, Bills, Texans, Rams, and the Super Bowl runners-up, the Patriots. Additionally, the Packers also share an intense rivalry with the Cowboys from the NFC East, while the Buccaneers could also be a tricky opponent.

Prediction

Many experts and analysts of the game were high on the Packers making a deep playoff run last season, but they barely managed to get into the postseason. Injuries to key players such as Micah Parsons and Tucker Kraft had an effect to some extent, but even then, Green Bay was unable to close out games despite leading.

The Packers also had high hopes from their first-round rookie, wide receiver Matthew Golden. The youngster was supposed to become the number 1 receiving option for Jordan Love, but his 14 games yielded just 29 receptions for 361 yards.

Additionally, the NFC North is quite an unpredictable division, and with the Bears on the rise, the Lions providing stiff competition, the Packers will have to step up their game if they want to reach the playoffs in the 2026-27 NFL season

Our Prediction: Packers to miss the playoffs in the 2026-27 NFL season.

Green Bay Packers Super Bowl LXI Odds for 2026-27 Season

According to the latest Super Bowl odds on FanDuel, the Green Bay Packers have (+1300) odds to win Super Bowl 61 next season. These odds are some of the best in the league, and the Packers currently sit 5th in the league for a Championship, behind the Seahawks, Rams, Ravens, and Bills.

Green Bay has excellent odds to lift the Lombardi Trophy next season, but it won’t be easy to make the playoffs. The division is tough, and they also have the third most difficult schedule. Their overall defense needs to improve, as the absence of Micah Parsons made a massive impact on the team in the second half of the 2025-26 season.

The offense has the ability to function at a high level, but the team lacks a true number one receiver who can get over 1,000 receiving yards. The collective effort on the part of the wide receiver room has proven its worth, but something more is needed to take the next step.

Green Bay Packers Conference Winner Odds for 2026-27 Season

Within the Conference, the Packers have (+700) odds to win the NFC, as per FanDuel. Once again, these are excellent odds, as Green Bay is third behind only the Seahawks and the Rams in the NFC.

Outside of the Seahawks and the Rams in the NFC, there are multiple other teams capable of finishing ahead of the Packers. Teams such as the Bears, Lions, 49ers, and the Eagles are either better or on par with Green Bay. It will be interesting to see how the new season shapes up in the NFC, but one thing is for sure: the competition will be fierce.

Green Bay Packers Division Winner Odds for 2026-27 Season

The Packers’ odds to win the NFC North are set at (+170), as per FanDuel. Despite Green Bay having better Super Bowl and Conference odds than the other teams in the division, the Packers are behind the Lions when it comes to clinching the NFC North.

Ironically, the Lions are the betting favorites to win the division, but they are not expected to progress further than the Packers in the postseason. The Lions are coming off a down year as per their recent records, but it is the Bears who seem to be discarded in spite of their brilliant record last season.

This offseason will be of utmost importance for the Packers. Green Bay needs to add a big name or two and draft well in order to improve the roster. The Wisconsin-based team has 8 draft picks at the moment and should look to bolster their defense, especially at the defensive tackle and cornerback positions.
