The Golden State Warriors will take on the San Antonio Spurs on a second night of a back-to-back going. The Spurs are 2-4 against the Warriors in their last 6 games, and this season the two teams have faced each other twice, going 1-1 against one another. The last time the Warriors faced the Spurs, the Dubs absolutely willed their way against a Victor Wembanyama less Spurs team, with the final score of 148-106.

The Warriors are currently the 6th seed in the Western Conference going 47-32 and are 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Dubs are currently tied with the L.A. Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and Memphis Grizzlies in terms of their record, and even as we approach the final three games of the regular season for the Warriors, there is still no telling which seed they’ll end up as going into the playoffs. If the playoffs were to start today, the Warriors would take on the L.A. Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.

The San Antonio Spurs are knocked out of the Playoff and the Play-In contention. They will most like finish the season as the 13th seed in the West and with three games remaining, they have a current record of 32-47. Despite losing Wemby to an injury, the Spurs still have something to look forward to and that is the winner of the Rookie of the Year award, and Stephon Castle is still the -1600 favorite to win the award according to BetMGM. The Spurs have a very bright future going ahead and with the core of Wemby, Castle, and Fox, they could make a deep playoff run next year.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Sochan will not play tonight against the Warriors as he is dealing with back issues.
