Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies will lock horns in the highly anticipated clash of the Western Conference in the 2025 Play-In Tournament. The winner of this game will clinch the No. 7 seed and face the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.

The Warriors slipped to the Play-In Tournament for the second straight year after an overtime loss to the Clippers on Sunday. Steph Curry and Co. made a flawless comeback since trading Jimmy Butler but fell short of the automatic qualification. Steve Kerr’s side clinched the home-court advantage due to tiebreaker rule.

On the flip side, the Grizzlies had a roller-coaster ride in the last two weeks due to the firing of their head coach and the shaky performances. Despite all, they are just one win away from clinching the No. 7 seed in the West. Memphis has posted a 2-0 record in the Play-In but lost all previous five games at Chase Center. It would be a cracking battle between Stephen Curry and Ja Morant.

Golden State Warriors will enter the Play-In tournament with a healthy roster as none of Curry, Green or Butler are listed on the injury report. Stephen Curry’s status has been upgraded after being questionable against the Clippers. The veteran guard jammed his right thumb and showed clear discomfort against the Trail Blazers.

Draymond Green also went to the locker room after colliding with Norman Powell on Sunday but returned with under two minutes left in the first quarter. Jimmy Butler, who said he took a knee from Leonard to his thigh under the basket, is good to go on Tuesday.

Memphis Grizzlies have listed three players on the injury report. Jaylen Wells and Brandon Clarke have been sidelined for the remainder of the season. Zyon Pullin, who played only three games this season, remains out from this contest.

Grizzlies got a big boost ahead of the crucial trip to San Francisco as Ja Morant is no longer listed on the injury report. He was not part of the Grizzlies’ win over the Mavs in the regular season finale. His status was downgraded from doubtful to out because of the injury.
