WNBA Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineups Golden State Valkyries vs Minnesota Lynx- Latest Injury Updates as Playoff Bound Valkyries Try Luck Against Table-Topper Lynx!

Garima Ranawat

The Minnesota Lynx are 2-0 against the Valkyries!

The Golden State Valkyries will host the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, September 6, in their last home-game of the 2025 WNBA regular season. The Valkyries scripted history in their 84-80 win over the Dallas Wings on Wednesday and sealed a playoff berth. The Valkyries are now the first expansion team in the history of the league to make the postseason in their first year.

The Minnesota Lynx, on the other hand, maintained their dominance throughout the season. Led by MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier with an average of 23.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, the Lynx became the first team to secure a postseason berth this season. Not only this, but they have also booked themselves the top seed in the playoffs.

While the Valkyries have gone 9-12 against the conference counterparts, shooting 41.1% from the field, the Lynx are 18-4 in the conference. They are averaging 87.0 points per game while shooting 47.6%. This will be the third meeting between both teams for the season, and the Valkyries will aim to record their first win of the season against the table toppers, pushing the tally 2-1.

Golden State heads into the Saturday-night seeking sixth straight win, whereas Minnesota would want to turn around the outcome of the recent loss in the last game.

Fans can expect high-voltage action on Saturday as two playoff bound teams lock horns on Saturday. With that said, let’s see how the injury reports look like for both the teams.
