Key Injuries, Predicted Lineups & Match Preview for the Crucial Premier League Clash on May 25.
Fulham vs Manchester City: The curtain is set to fall on the 2024–25 Premier League season on Sunday afternoon. On the final day of the season, Manchester City have made their way to Craven Cottage to face Fulham. With Champions League qualification on the line, Pep Guardiola and Co. are entering this clash knowing that a win will seal them a third place finish.
Citizens are approaching this match on the back of a midweek 3-1 victory over Bournemouth. They will be looking to bounce back from an FA Cup final defeat. Meanwhile, Fulham will look to finish strong after beating Brentford in a thrilling London derby.

Manchester City are currently sitting in third place, two points clear of Newcastle, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, respectively, in fourth, fifth, and sixth places. Three Citizens have their Champions League destiny in their hands. A win on Sunday guarantees them a third place. A draw should also be enough to secure a top-five finish.
However, a defeat could see them drop into the Europa League if all of three teams training then won their respective matches. City are boasting a nine-league game winning streak with six wins and three draws. They have also won their last 17 meetings against Fulham. This is the longest such streak in English football history.

Fulham will be without several key players. Timothy Castagne is nursing an ankle issue, both Harrison Reed and Rodrigo Muniz are recovering from their calf problems, while Reiss Nelson is suffering from a thigh injury. Captain Tom Cairney who’s potentially playing his final match for the club, could start in midfield.
On the brighter side, Harry Wilson may return to the lineup, while Raul Jimenez should be set to lead the attack once more. Currently Fulham’s top scorer, Jimenez, is chasing a third consecutive goal-scoring game and has been vital in key games for Fulham throughout the season.

For Man City, Mateo Kovacic is set to serve out a suspension following a red card against Bournemouth. Meanwhile, John Stones remains out with a thigh problem. Jack Grealish is reportedly set to miss out entirely. However, as a squad boost, Oscar Bobb and Nathan Ake are back in contention. Rodri returned midweek after an eight-month absence from the game.
However, understandably, he won’t be starting the game. Either Nico Gonzalez or Bernardo Silva may slot into midfield with Ilkay Gundogan. Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne is expected to captain the side in his farewell appearance. Either Jeremy Doku, Savinho, or Phil Foden could feature out wide.
