“Electric Night For Tennis Fans” – First-Ever Miami Invitational Headlined by Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu at LoanDepot Park

The inaugural Miami Invitational, a one-night exhibition at loanDepot Park, will mark the first time tennis takes over the home of the Miami Marlins (Major League Baseball team). Set for December 8, the event will feature four stars of the sport: World No. 1 and six-time major champion Carlos Alcaraz, rising Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca, 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu, and this season’s US Open and Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova. Two singles matches, played best-of-three with a 10-point deciding tiebreaker, will headline the night.

Tickets will first be available via presale on October 1 at 10 a.m., with general sale opening October 3 through Tickets.com. Fans can secure early access by registering at Marlins.com/MiamiInvitational.

One-night Tennis Exhibition in Miami LoanDepot Park

The women’s clash pairs Raducanu against Miami Beach native Anisimova, a homecoming match that promises a charged atmosphere. The men’s draw then brings Fonseca into his first career meeting with Alcaraz, a generational test for the 19-year-old Brazilian against the sport’s current standard-bearer.

Organizers see the event as more than just an exhibition. “To feature two of the brightest women’s stars in Anisimova and Raducanu alongside the first-ever meeting between Alcaraz and Fonseca should prove to be an electric night for tennis fans,” said Molly Pendleton, senior VP at Unified Events, which is co-hosting alongside loanDepot Park.

The players echoed that energy. “I love playing in Miami, the fans always bring incredible energy,” Alcaraz told the Miami Herald. “I’m thrilled to take the court for this first event at loanDepot park with Joao, Amanda, and Emma.” Fonseca added, “Sharing the court with Carlos, Amanda, and Emma at loanDepot park will be epic. Miami’s fans, especially the Brazilian community, will make this night truly special.”

For Anisimova, the chance is especially personal. “Playing in my hometown at loanDepot park with these stars is going to be incredible. Miami always delivers the biggest events, and I can’t wait for December!” she said.

The venue’s leadership also emphasized its significance. “Bringing four of the top talents in the sport of tennis…places South Florida at the center court of the global sports stage,” said Caroline O’Connor, Miami Marlins President of Business. All in all, at the crossroads of baseball and tennis, Miami looks set to deliver another high-profile night of sport and spectacle.
