The Indiana Fever continued their red-hot form and defeated the Dallas Wings with a significant margin at 88-78. This marked their fourth straight win, a season-high record for the Fever, who have had an inconsistent 2025 WNBA season, marred by injuries, inconsistencies, and what not. This is not it, but with the victory, the Fever have recorded four games above .500 for the first time since 2015.

The night saw Kelsey Mitchell leading Indiana with 23 points, three rebounds, and three assists. She is now tied for the most 20-point games by a guard this season. Aari McDonald, on the other hand, tallied 15 points, four rebounds, and six assists, whereas Aliyah Boston chipped in 12 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. On the flip side, Paige Bueckers continued to spill magic on the court.

The star rookie dropped 22 points, while grabbing four rebounds, and dished out four assists. Bueckers now has eight games with 20+ points, 2+ steals, which is the most by a rookie ever. She was the only Wings player who scored in double digits. The second-best performance for the Wings came from Myisha Hines-Allen and Aziaha James, who both dropped nine points each.

Indiana Fever Continue to Dominate Without Caitlin Clark

The Indiana Fever continued their dominance despite missing star Caitlin Clark for the sixth game in a row. The game was moved to American Airlines Center for an anticipated Clark-Bueckers showdown, but the former missed her 15th game overall. The Fever are now 8-7 without her in the season. Coming back to the clash, the gameplay kicked off on an intense note, and both teams came off as a tough challenge for each other.

Kelsey Mitchell dropped seven points, one rebound, and one assist for the Fever, while the Bueckers led the Wings with five points, two rebounds, and one assist as they entered the second quarter tied at 22. Bueckers continued scoring and was leading her side with 15 points, two rebounds, and three assists by the end of the second quarter. However, the Fever gained an upper hand and entered halftime with a 48-42 lead. Mitchell and Natasha Howard scored nine points each for the Fever.

In the third quarter, the gap between both teams widened, and the Fever gained a 70-57 lead over their rivals. Bueckers was leading the charts for Wings with 18 points, three rebounds, and two assists. For the Fever, Mitchell had scored 18 points, two rebounds, and one assist. The Wings tried to narrow down the gap in the final period, but ended up losing the game by ten points.
