The fourth-seeded Elena Rybakina will take on Tatjana Maria of Germany in the 2025 Queen’s Club Championship. Maria made an upset victory over Karolina Muchova to reach the last-8, while Rybakina eliminated the local star, Heather Watson in straight sets to kick off the campaign.

Elena Rybakina made a stunning debut at Queen’s Club with a one-sided victory against Watson, having 32 winners. The Kazakh ace knows how to tackle the grass-court battle as she won the 2022 Wimbledon championship. She has made into the six grass court quarterfinals, including three at Wimbledon. This year. she had a roller-coaster ride and made into the fourth round of the Roland Garros where she almost surprised Iga Swiatek. She won the title at Strasbourg and reached the quarterfinals of Queen’s Club in both singles and doubles event. However, her campaign ended in the doubles event with a straight-set loss.

Tatjana Maria entered the Queen’s Club championship with a nine-match losing streak but came back with four straight victories. The German veteran outclassed Karolina Muchova in the round of 16 to reach first-ever WTA 500 quarterfinal. The 37-year-old made her first top-20 win after a losing streak of 15 matches. Maria has gone 3-0 in grass-court quarterfinals which also included a semifinal run in 2022. The German ace has posted a 72-37 career record on grass court.
