It happened in the third quarter, with the Texans leading 34–3, when Henry finally broke through Houston’s defense for a powerful touchdown run.

In NFL history, only four players now have more rushing touchdowns than Henry. Here’s the current Top 5 for most career rushing touchdown:

Emmitt Smith – 164 touchdowns
LaDainian Tomlinson – 145 touchdowns
Marcus Allen – 123 touchdowns
Adrian Peterson – 120 touchdowns
Derrick Henry – 110 touchdowns*

A Very Rough Start for Derrick Henry and the Ravens

Since the start of the season, Derrick Henry hasn’t quite looked like his usual dominant self. After posting 1,921 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns last year, his first season alongside Lamar Jackson, expectations were high for another big year.

But with his starting quarterback out for tonight’s game, Henry struggled to find his rhythm.

At halftime, he had just 6 carries for 8 yards, far below his usual standards.

It’s only the third time in his career that Henry has been held under 10 rushing yards in a first half — the last time being in 2023, when he was still with the Tennessee Titans.

The Ravens now fall to 1–4 and will face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 — a much tougher opponent than Houston.

That means Lamar Jackson could be returning to a 1–5 team, with plenty of ground to make up.
