Danny Wolf had a slow start in college, but his strong finish put him firmly in the 2025 NBA Draft spotlight. The Brooklyn Nets selected Danny Wolf with the 27th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. He graduated from the Hermon School in Gill, Massachusetts.

A McDonald’s All-American Game nominee, Wolf was rated a three-star recruit before joining the Yale Bulldogs for the 2022-23 season. His start to his college basketball career was average, registering 2.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks per game.

By his sophomore season, Wolf cemented his role as a starter and earned First-Team All-Ivy League honors. He was also named Ivy League tournament MVP. Wolf transferred to the University of Michigan ahead of the 2024–25 NCAA season to elevate his game against stronger competition.

Wolf averaged 13.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in the last season. His field goal percentage stood at 49.7% while his beyond the arc average was at 33.6%. Michigan finished second in the Big Ten but saw their March Madness run cut short by a tough Auburn squad.
