Victor Wembanyama and Ausar Thompson are among the NBA players who have also suffered from DVT. In this injury, a blood clot forms in one or more of the deep veins in the body. It can cause pain or swelling in the leg, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Damian Lillard last played for the Bucks on Mar. 18, in a 93-104 loss to the Warriors. The Bucks are fifth in the East and have posted a 40-31 regular-season record. With Lillard missing out in the lineup, Milwaukee will face a big issue in their offense during the playoffs. The Bucks are 2-1 since Lillard’s season-ending injury.
