Jimmy Butler struggled in his return to Miami.
The NBA fans didn’t mince words and brutally trolled Golden State Warriors superstar Jimmy Butler for his poor show against his former team Miami Heat. Butler traveled to Miami for the first time since his trade on Tuesday, March 25. However, it was definitely not the kind of “revenge game” that the six-time NBA All-Star would have wanted. The sixth-seeded Warriors suffered an embarrassing 112-86 loss to the lower-seeded Miami.
Butler finished with 11 points, six rebounds and two assists in his 28 minutes stay on the court. Needless to say, fans were left disappointed. They took to social media to troll the former Miami star for his poor show in the highly-anticipated fixture.

Butler, who often made headlines towards the end of his five-and-a-half year tenure with the Heat, was sent to the Warriors during the trade deadline 2025.
Towards the end of his tenure in Miami, Butler received a total of 14 suspensions, confirming the rift rumors between him and the front office. However, despite his contentious departure from Miami, he was warmly welcomed upon his homecoming with a special tribute video.

While he wanted it to be a memorable outing to his former home, Jimmy Butler and the Warriors had a forgettable day on the court. The sixth-seeded Warriors, who are in contention of securing a playoff berth, were handed a blowout 112-86 defeat, making their second in the row. The Heat took full advantage of the home court and led the Warriors 28-22 at the end of the first quarter. While Bam Adebayo scored 13 points for the Heat with four rebounds and one block, Gui Santos came up with the right points for the visitors.
