The Dallas Wings will welcome the Connecticut Sun at College Park Center on Wednesday, August 27 for their last meeting of the 2025 WNBA season. Both the Wings and the Sun have been eliminated from playoff contention. While Connecticut was ousted after its 99-93 OT loss to the Indiana Fever on August 17, the Wings became the second team to exit the playoff race after their defeat following their buzzer-beater loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.

While the forthcoming game won’t have any impact on their campaign, both teams would want to add more victories to their tallies and end the season on a high. The Wings will head in the upcoming game on the back of a five-game losing skid. In their latest game, they went down to the Golden State Valkyries 90-81. The Sun, on the other hand, are on a two-game losing skid. In their last fixture, they suffered a narrow 81-79 defeat to the New York Liberty.
