Another injury blow for the Mavericks!
The Dallas Mavericks are going through a major injury crisis, and on Friday, they were hit with another blow. Guard Dante Exum suffered a fracture in his left hand during the 133-96 loss against the Rockets.
The Mavericks entered the game with eight players sidelined due to injuries. That number jumped to nine after Dante Exum suffered an injury in the first half. He left the game midway during the second quarter, after having played only seven minutes. Later, ESPN’s Shams Charania announced that Exum has broken a bone in his left hand, and will be out indefinitely.

Exum had scored two points before sustaining the injury.
Notably, this is not the firs time that has been sidelined with an injury. He has missed 48 games after he underwent a wrist surgery and played only 18 games this season.
Talking about his stats this season, he has been averaging 9.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Things have been going downhill for the Mavericks ever since they traded Luka Doncic to the Lakers. After the trade, Anthony Davis sustained an adductor injury in his debut game and has been out of action since then.
With Luka’s absence, Kyrie Irving shouldered the scoring responsibility. However, Irving sustained an ACL injury, which ruled him out for rest of the season.
The tenth-seeded Western Conference team Dallas Mavericks received their eighth loss in the last ten games as the Houston Rockets took them down 133-96. It was their eighth loss in the last ten games. The game saw the Rockets taking a full advantage of the short-handed Mavericks. They led the first quarter 27-25, halftime with 62-49 and the third quarter with 99-70.
While Brandon Williams, Spencer Dinwiddie and Naji Marshall added 65 points to the scorecard for the Mavs, it was clearly not enough to guide them to victory.
