Croatia Seeks to Build on Recent Success in 2025 World Cup Qualifiers
The Croatian Football team has had a few nervy months after managing to win only three of their last 10 contests. After losing out 5-4 on penalties to France in the Nations League quarterfinal, Croatia will look to earn momentum as they gear up for the World Cup Qualifier Round 3 in June 2025.
Croatia who join Group L of the Qualifications will have Czechia, Montenegro, Faroe Islands and Gibraltar as their group rivals. Czechia and Montenegro after winning their first two games currently leading the group as Croatia will start their campaign to the World Cup 2026 this week.
After missing out on the UEFA Nations League, Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic will aim to overturn the rough patch as his star players return. Here is an overview of Croatia’s fixtures through the summer and 2025:

Croatia will take on Gibraltar in their first contest of the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers. Gibraltar currently is at the bottom of Group L after two defeats in two games. This involved a 4-0 defeat to Czechia the last time in the Qualifiers in March. Croatia having won only one game out of their last five will look to get back to winning ways.
