CONCACAF Nations League Finals: Mexico vs. Panama – Injury News, Injury Update, Predicted Line-ups and More

Mayur Dedwal

Panama and Mexico will face each other for their first Nations League title.

Panama is set to face Mexico in what will be the finals of the CONCACAF Nations League. After a hard-fought dramatic fashion win over the USMNT, Panama will head to their first CONCACAF Nations League final. Meanwhile, Mexico, who has been a dominant figure in the tournament, will aim to clinch their First Nations League title. After being defeated in the finals of the first edition of the competition, El Tri will be ready for redemption.

Panama wants to disrupt and profit from counterattacks, while Mexico wants to impose their style in what should be a tactical duel. Panama could test Mexico to the breaking point, but El Tri might have the advantage due to their attacking prowess and experience.

Mexico Injury News

Mexico is expected to head into the finals with the same squad that faced Canada. Despite facing some yellow card rulings, every Mexican player has made it to the Nations League finals.

As Cesar Montes returns from his one-match suspension, Javier Aguirre may decide to move captain Edson Alvarez back into the base of midfield. This will reestablish Mexico’s key center-back partnership with Montes and Johan Vazquez.

Mexico Predicted Lineup: Malagón; Huescas, Montes, Álvarez, Vázquez, Gallardo; Lira, Alvarado, Vega; Jiménez, Giménez.
