The winner of the series will clash against the winner of the Knicks-Celtics series in the Conference Finals.
The Eastern Conference table-toppers Cleveland Cavaliers have paved their way through to the Conference Semifinals of the NBA Playoffs 2025. They are set to lock horns with the No. 4 Indiana Pacers in a quest to book the Conference Finals berth.
The Cavs are coming on the back of a four-game sweep over the Miami Heat. They scripted history as they dismantled the Heat with a 138-83 margin in Game 4 of the first-round series. With this, Cleveland recorded the largest margin of victory in the franchise’s playoff history.
Talking about their campaign in the regular season, the Cavaliers finished with the best offensive rating (121.0) and eighth-best defensive rating with 111.8. Moreover, they have a powerful squad, which includes the likes of Evan Mobley, the NBA Defensive Player of the Year 2025.
On the other hand, the Pacers will enter the series high on confidence. Both teams have been up against each other on four occasions, and Pacers emerged victorious in three of them. Needless to say, they know the weakness of the Cavaliers and like previous clashes, would aim to capitalize on it.
All in all, there are going to have some fireworks as Eastern Conference heavyweights clash to block a spot against the winner of the Knicks and the Celtics in the Conference Finals.
