The Upcoming Weekend Is Full of Action Packed Games Featuring Multiple Game Sevens

Eric Divakaran

The upcoming weekend is a paradise for NBA and NHL fans, as there are two game sevens coming their way. The Western Conference of the NBA delivers two NBA Game 7s featuring the Denver Nuggets vs. the L.A. Clippers, and the Golden State Warriors vs. the Houston Rockets. While the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs feature Avalanche vs. Stars, and Blues vs. Jets. These do-or-die games promises heart-stopping action going forward.

Event Schedule

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

NBA- The Denver Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Clippers 7:30 p.m. ET. Kawhi Leonard will battle Nikola Jokic in a first round thriller, as the teams look to advance forward to the second round, to face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

NHL- The Colorado Avalanche will play in their first Game 7 victory in 23 years. Meanwhile the Dallas Stars will try to win their third consecutive Game 7, as they face off for the Western Conference First Round at American Airlines Arena, on 8 p.m. ET.

Sunday, May 4, 2025

NBA- The Golden State Warriors will face off the Houston Rockets in Game 7 of the first round series, in the Western Conference. The Warriors had previously taken a 3-1 lead, but ultimately could not get it done in neither Game 5, or Game 6 of the first round. Fred VanVleet and the rest of the young Rockets, are trying to secure their first playoff win, with their current roster, in the 2025 NBA playoffs. While Steph Curry is trying to win his 5th championship in his career, which would tie him with Magic Johnson, and reopen the conversations about the greatest point-guard of all time again.

NFL- Blues scored 4 goals and forced a Game 7 against the Jets in the Western Conference 1st round, and the Blues have now scored 15 goals on Hellebuyck in three home games. While Hellebuyck has vowed to be better in the upcoming games, we wonder if they can pull off a win against the Blues, going further.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
