Rationale and Analysis

Daniel Jones has been terrific this season, but his problem has been interceptions. He has 7 interceptions in 10 games, and in the last two games, he’s throw 4 picks, despite being highly accurate. The Chiefs are solid when it comes to their pass defense and are top 10 in interceptions. Looking at his history and the Chiefs’ defense, Jones could throw over 0.5 INTs.

Outside of Mahomes’ rookie season, he is having his worst passing season so far, with a completion rate of 64.5 percent. Mahomes has tallied 6 interceptions this season and in the last three games, he’s had at least one INT, totaling four picks in 3 games. The Colts thrive on picks and have 10 so far this season, making this a reasonable bet.

Jonathan Taylor more go for more than 19.5 rushing attempts, as the Chiefs’ defense against the run has been much worse than their passing, allowing 104.6 yards on average and 9 rushing TDs this season. Good things have tended to happen when Taylor gets high volume of touches, and after a 32 rushing attempt game against the Falcons, we do not see him slowing down.

Chiefs vs Colts Prediction

The Chiefs are in desperation currently, as they are 5-5 for the season and are on the brink of missing out on the playoffs. They have lost their last two games and desperation time is now here. However, the majority of Chiefs’ losses have come on the road, going 1-4 this season, but they are solid at home with 4-1 record. Looking at this, we expect the Chiefs to pull off a win and Mahomes to be in playoff mode already, as they have very little wiggle room.
