World No. 7 Casper Ruud opens his 2025 Monte Carlo Masters campaign with a tricky Round-2 encounter against Roberto Bautista Agut on Wednesday. The gritty Spaniard is a force to be reckoned with on clay, and has toppled many seeds in the past. A former Top-10 player himself, this promises to be an entertaining clash on Court des Princes.

Seeded fourth in Monte Carlo, Casper Ruud is back on his strongest surface. He has displayed a whole range of virtuoso performances over the past couple of years – earning him two Roland Garros finalist trophies in the past three years.
