A knee injury forced World No. 13 Casper Ruud to miss the entire grass court season in 2025. The two-time Roland Garros finalist won the Madrid Masters on clay, and also reached quarterfinals in Barcelona and Rome. In the beginning of the season, the Norwegian managed to reach the final in Dallas. Yet to get past Round-2 at the majors this year, Ruud is currently 25-8 in the ongoing campaign.
