Alexander Zverev, on the other hand, dispatched in-form Ben Shelton and booked his place in the Cincinnati semifinals. The German ace also reached the semifinals in Toronto where he lost to Karen Khachanov in third-set tiebreak. He made into the quarterfinals at Roland Garros but faced a first-round exit in Wimbledon. A three-time Grand Slam finalist had a runner-up finish in the Australian Open and the Boss Open. He has been winning a shade under 80% points on first serve so far.
