Four events set to take place between Dec. 4-8

After an intense tennis season across the WTA and ATP circuits, the top players in the world will gear up for some fun-filled exhibition matches. The first week of December will feature multiple events on the All-Star Tennis Tour, as both the World No. 1s – Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz return to American soil. Here’s what the week has in store for tennis around the country.

First Leg – Charlotte and New Jersey

On December 4, Taylor Fritz and Venus Williams will feature in the ‘Charlotte Invitational’ at the Queen City. The exhibition will take place at 7:00 PM Local in the Spectrum Center. The American mainstays will be joined by reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys, as well as former Top-10 player Frances Tiafoe. It will be Williams vs Keys and Fritz vs Tiafoe in this classic for the Charlotte Sports Foundation.

On December 7, six-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz will step foot on the Prudential Center in New Jersey for ‘A Racquet at the Rock.’ He is set to battle Frances Tiafoe in the men’s singles, and Top-10 sensations Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula will square off in the women’s singles. Following this, all four players will take part in a special mixed doubles duel. The event also aims to honor local hero Althea Gibson – the first African American to win a Grand Slam title.

Second Leg – New York City and Miami

There will be two more events on December 8, in the prime-time cities of New York and Miami. The ‘Garden Cup’ at the Big Apple will see World No. 1 and double defending US Open champion Aryna Sabalenka lock horns with four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka. Additionally, Nick Kyrgios and Tommy Paul will light up Madison Square Garden with an entertaining men’s match-up. The night will culminate with a mixed doubles contest between the four veterans.

Heading over to the Magic City, fans will witness a dream rivalry of the next generation taking shape. Reigning World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz will battle the 19-year-old Brazilian beast Joao Fonseca in the 2025 ‘Miami Tennis Invitational.’ There will be no shortage of high quality tennis on display, as Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula return for another clash of the titans. The star-studded evening also includes a 10-point tiebreaker between Pegula/Alcaraz and Anisimova/Fonseca.
