Clash of the left-handers for a spot in the pre-quarterfinal.
After taking out a veteran and a seeded player in back-to-back matches, British title hope Cameron Norrie returns to the 2025 Wimbledon Championships for a vital Round of 32 battle. He will take on Mattia Bellucci of Italy, who also took out a Top-32 competitor in his last match. Can the southpaw continue his dream run at SW19 this year?
With the tumbling down of seeds being the main headline of Wimbledon in 2025, Cameron Norrie was responsible for this as well. The 29-year-old conquered Frances Tiafoe in the Round of 64 in four sets, displaying a terrific level of tennis. Norrie enters this match on the prefix of two wins and two losses on grass so far, and a 70% service game success rate. He ended his clay court campaign with a season-best semifinal finish in Geneva, before reaching the R16 at Roland Garros.
24-year-old Mattia Bellucci is a surprise entrant into the Round of 32 at All England Club. The Italian has dropped a solitary set so far, and came into the Championships with a 3-3 record on grass including qualifiers. Ranked No. 73 in the world, has has already achieved his best outing at Wimbledon so far. Searching for his maiden career trophy, Bellucci beat Oliver Crawford and Jiri Lehecka en route to this stage.

This will be the first meeting between Norrie and Bellucci on the professional main draw circuit. However, the two starlets faced off in the qualifying event at the 2025 Monte Carlo Masters. Bellucci pulled off a narrow 6-4 2-6 6-3 on the day.

Cameron Norrie is hitting around 65% first serves on grass this year, winning 71% of these points. He has a proficient forehand to back it up. The key for Bellucci will be to move forward on the Norrie backhand, and pressurise him into nailing the passing shot to win the point. It will be a tactical battle among two fine players, and we predict the home crowd to push their British star over the line.
Prediction: Cameron Norrie in four sets.
2 – Since the rankings were first published in 1973, Cameron Norrie has become just the second British player to claim ATP top 20 wins at each of the four Grand Slam events, along with Andy Murray. Glorious.#Wimbledon | @Wimbledon @atptour @ATPMediaInfo pic.twitter.com/RiJe76WUV7
