Cameron Norrie vs. Frances Tiafoe Head-to-Head, Prediction and Betting Odds for Wimbledon 2025 Round-2

Sankalp Harikrishnan

Winner to face Lehecka or Bellucci in R3.

Two mainstays of the ATP Tour will collide in the 2025 Wimbledon Championships Round of 64 – as hometown hero Cameron Norrie runs into Frances Tiafoe on Wednesday. The No. 12 seed famously dragged defending champion Carlos Alcaraz to five sets here last year, before falling short. Can he beat the British southpaw to advance to Round-3?

Frances Tiafoe is a former pre-quarterfinalist at Wimbledon. The American is also a two-time US Open semifinalist, and knows how to crack the code on the big stages. In 2025, he has reached a solitary final in Houston, which he lost. The World No. 12 is 1-1 on grass so far, having lost in the opening round of the HSBC Championships. He will look to improve his 18-14 win-loss record this season.

Cameron Norrie earned a hard fought four set win over Roberto Bautista Agut in Round-1. The 29-year-old is a former Wimbledon semifinalist (2022), and excels on grass historically. Norrie had an abysmal build-up to the Championship – losing his opening match at Queen’s Club and Eastbourne. Nonetheless, while his 71% service game success rate is commendable, he will need to work on his 21% break point conversion rate.

Cameron Norrie vs Frances Tiafoe Head to Head Record

The head-to-head record between Cameron Norrie and Frances Tiafoe stands at 2-1 in favour of the American. Tiafoe won the last two encounters between the two players.

The rivalry between the duo began in 2021, when Norrie defeated his counterpart in the quarterfinal of the Delray Beach Open. Since then, Tiafoe has dominated the duel. The 27-year-old notched consecutive straight sets wins at the 2023 Indian Wells Masters and 2024 Vienna Open.

Cameron Norrie vs Frances Tiafoe Wimbledon 2025 Prediction

The match will be determined by whether or not Tiafoe can weather the storm of the British crowd. When it comes to form and game styles, it is hard to separate the two competitors. Norrie will flatten his groundstrokes, while Tiafoe will attempt to strike a balance between power and guile. There will be plenty of serves out wide in order to take control of rallies on the third shot.

Prediction: Cameron Norrie in four sets.
