Caitlin Clark's agent, Erin Kane dished multiple statements to ESPN regarding the salaries in WNBA.

The 2024 WNBA phenomenon, Caitlin Clark achieved a humongous stardom after a sensational rookie season with the Indiana Fever. The WNBA rookie led the league in assists while breaking the record of most assists dished in a single season.

Clark’s stardom reached new levels when teams had to shift arenas to facilitate the crowd. However, Clark only got paid $76,535 for her sensational rookie year.

Recently, Caitlin Clark’s agent, Erin Kane dished multiple statements to ESPN regarding the salaries in WNBA. She directly denied that league wouldn’t be able to pay what Clark is worth to the league and said “I don’t think that’s possible”.

“Will Caitlin Clark ever be paid by the WNBA what she’s really worth to that league”?, the interviewer asked.

“I don’t think that’s possible,” Erin Kane, Clark’s agent, told ESPN. “She’s part of a larger player body. They all need to be paid more. She should be recognized for what she has done and what she’s brought to the league from an economic standpoint.”

The WNBA’s value has soared, and the league is bringing in major changes, such as the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that will take effect in the 2026 season.

Caitlin Clark MVP season?

After a sensational rookie year, Caitlin Clark is ready for the 2025 WNBA season. A major upgrade in the free-agency by the Indiana Fever organization has put them among the favorites for the 2025 WNBA Title.

Caitlin Clark will be joined by the experienced duo of Natasha Howard and DeWanna Bonner who are both excellent 3&D players. With better three-point shooters and Kelsey Mitchell returning, Clark has the second best odds to become the MVP, behind only A’ja Wilson.

Multiple sources have put Caitlin Clark as the second favorite to the MVP before the season starts. The rookie finished fourth in the race for MVP in her first season and would be hoping to take a leap with a strong and experienced squad.
