Caitlin Clark limped off to the sidelines with just one minute left in the Connecticut Sun game on Tuesday. She appeared to suffer a non-contact injury while attempting a shot late in the fourth quarter. The point guard felt something in her groin area and limped away, catching it in the pain.

Broadcast cameras remained fixed on Clark during the final timeout, capturing her visible discomfort and distress. The 23-year-old was in tears, and her teammates were seen consoling her. This marks her third lower-body issue this season, further complicating her comeback efforts.

What is the Latest Caitlin Clark Injury Update?

Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White claimed that Caitlin Clark felt something in her groin. To contextualize, the WNBA star just recently returned from a groin injury. She was out for five games, including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final against the Minnesota Lynx.

However, as she walked off the court, Clark was seen clutching her right groin area, different from the site of her previous injury. Her previous injury occurred at the left groin area. This looks like a fresh injury rather than an aggravation of the previous injury.

Judging by Clark’s facial expressions and emotional reaction, she could be in danger of missing another stretch of games, including the All-Star showcase. Fans were excited to see her take on Naphessa Collier’s side. But that scenario looks done and dusted.
