Buccaneers vs Eagles Injury Report- Big Updates on Baker Mayfield, Chris Godwin As Eagles Get Lane Johnson Return Boost!

Eric Divakaran

As Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season unfolds, the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0) host the equally perfect Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) in a marquees NFC clash at Raymond James Stadium. Both teams have stormed out of the gates with dramatic flair, showcasing resilience and offensive firepower that promises fireworks. The Bucs, led by Baker Mayfield’s clutch two-minute drills, have made history as the first team to win their opening three games with game-winning scores in the final minute each time. Their latest thriller was a 29-27 heartstopper against the New York Jets.

Meanwhile, the Eagles, defending Super Bowl champions, grinded out a 33-26 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Rams, erasing a 19-point halftime deficit with 26 unanswered points, capped by Jordan Davis’ blocked field goal returned for a touchdown.

With two unbeaten teams coming together, expect a fierce match where defenses must rise for each team to carry out a victory.

To address the elephant in the room, QB Baker Mayfield is listed as questionable for the Eagles game, and he was a limited participant on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s practices, which could be a huge blow for the Bucs, as their chances to beat the Eagles will significantly drop if he’s not gearing up.

However, the good news is that, WR Chris Godwin had a full practice on Friday and could very well play against the Eagles. Unfortunately, he is listed as questionable for now and it will most likely be a game time decision on his return. WR Mike Evans is out for tonight’s game as he is dealing with an hamstring injury.

The Eagles have six players on their injury report, however, everyone except CB Adoree’ Jackson were full participants at practice on Friday. They are more or less ready to go and will most likely be near full strength for this Week 4 action.

The Buccaneers have many key pieces missing for this intense matchup, and it would be a shame if QB Baker Mayfield is not on the field to participate, as he’s been the key to Tampa’s success so far.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
