Brandon Miller is the second highest scorer for the Hornets this season.
Charlotte Hornets’ second-year forward Brandon Miller will be out for an indefinite period of time due to a torn ligament in his right wrist. According to the Hornets, their second-leading scorer injured his wrist during their 117-112 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
Following it, the Hornets were up against the Chicago Bulls, which turned out to be a close and high-octane affair. They recorded a narrow 125-123 win to take the tally 10-28 in the current season. However, the side were without the 2023 NBA draft’s No. 2 pick, due to what the team earlier called a “wrist sprain.”
The team announced that the 22-year-old suffered a scapholunate ligament. “Miller underwent an MRI after sustaining a wrist injury in the Hornets win at Utah on January 15. Miller will be listed as OUT indefinitely and additional updates on his status will be provided as appropriate,” Hornets’ official statement read.
The Tennessee-born has appeared in 27 games for the side, and is averaging at 21.0 points with 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists in this season. In his last game against the Jazz, Miller played for 33 minutes, and recorded 20 points with 3 assists and 5 rebounds.
