Brandon Graham may have played the final game of his NFL career on Sunday night, but it was undoubtedly the end of his season.

Following the Philadelphia Eagles’ 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, Graham revealed to reporters that he had torn his triceps, officially sidelining him for the remainder of the 2024 season.

“If I had to go out like this, I gave everything I got,” said the 36-year-old, as reported by NBC Philly’s Ashlyn Sullivan.

Graham, who had been managing tendonitis in his triceps, explained that a chip to the elbow aggravated the injury. Overwhelmed with emotion in the locker room at SoFi Stadium, he admitted that this issue had been bothering him for a while.

“At the end of the day, it is what it is,” Graham said. “No sense in crying about it, just gotta know that I put everything into it. It hurt, but I’m telling you, I’m gonna be better from it.”

During Sunday’s game, Graham recorded two tackles and a sack, moving him to third place on the Eagles’ all-time sack list. His takedown of Matthew Stafford in the second quarter brought his career total to 76.5 sacks, placing him behind only Trent Cole and Reggie White.

This season, Brandon Graham finished with 3.5 sacks. His legacy as a cornerstone of the Eagles’ defense began when the team drafted him 13th overall in 2010 out of Michigan. Over 15 seasons, Graham became the first player in Eagles history to appear in 200 regular-season games.

He will always be remembered for his pivotal play in Super Bowl LII, where his late-game strip sack on Tom Brady helped secure the Eagles’ first championship. The perfectly timed turnover remains a defining moment of his career.
