The 2025 BJK Cup Finals will be played between 16-21 September.

The 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Finals will be played between 16-21 September at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, China. Eight nations will take part in the tournament – six winners from the qualifying rounds (Great Britain, Japan, Kazakhstan, Spain, Ukraine, USA), one defending champion (Italy) and one host nation (China). Each tie will be determined by two singles matches followed by a potentially deciding doubles clash.

The 2025 BJK Cup is the 62nd edition of the premier women’s team event – an equivalent to the Davis Cup. Initially launched as the Federation Cup in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ITF, its name was changed to Fed Cup in 1995. After 2020, the competition was renamed to honor former World No. 1 Billie Jean King – an active supporter and promoter of women’s tennis.

The official prize money and tournament earnings for the 2025 edition of the BJK Cup Finals have not been confirmed. Last year, the total prize money commitment was around $9.6 million. The champions of the 2024 event amassed $2.4 million; the runners-up pocketed $1.4 million. Meanwhile, qualifiers received at least $450,000. Prize money is expected to see a boost in 2025 compared to last year.
