The Los Angeles Lakers made a dramatic step on Mark-Williams-Dalton Knecht trade. The Lakers have rescinded the deal to acquire Mark Williams from Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night. The Hornets center failed his physical, and Lakers decided to scrap the trade.

The Lakers traded rookie Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish along with draft considerations for Mark Williams. The Hornets were supposed to receive the Lakers’ first-round pick in 2031 and a first-round pick swap in 2030.
