Stefanos Tsitsipas is the men’s singles defending champion at the tournament.
The highly anticipated clay court season is set to begin, and it kicks off with the Monte Carlo Masters. It is an annual professional tennis tournament on the ATP circuit, and is played on outdoor clay courts. The competition is held in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France – it is a commune that borders on Monaco.
Every year, the ATP Monte Carlo Masters takes place in the month of April. The 2025 Monte Carlo Masters will be the 56th tour-level edition of the tournament, and takes place between Saturday, April 5 to Sunday, April 13. Rafael Nadal is the record title holder at the event which is played in the Monte Carlo Country Club – having won on 11 separate occasions.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is the defending champion in men’s singles at the 2025 Rolex Monte Carlo Masters. He beat Casper Ruud 6-1 6-4 in the 2024 final. Meanwhile, Joran Vliegen and Sander Gille won the men’s doubles trophy – beating Alexander Zverev and Marcelo Melo 5-7 6-3 10-5.
The 2025 Rolex Monte Carlo Masters begins with qualifying on Saturday, April 5th. The qualifying round continues on Sunday alongside the First Round encounters. Meanwhile, both doubles and singles finals will be played on Sunday, April 13th – not before 12PM and 3PM local time respectively.
