ATP Miami Open 2025 Schedule: Draws, Prize Money and More

The Miami Masters returns for its 40th edition at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The ATP Miami Open is a professional tennis tournament which is held annually in late March and early April. The competition is played on the outdoor hard courts at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, USA. The Miami Open is a Masters-1000 event on the men’s circuit, and is considered one of the biggest tournaments of the ATP season outside the four Grand Slams.

The 2025 Miami Open is the 40th edition of the premier event. It is being played between 17 March to 30 March 2025. The world’s top players will be competing – including Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev. Having previously been organised at Key Biscayne, Florida, the second half of the sunshine double moved to the Miami Gardens back in 2019. It features the top 96 athletes from the ATP Tour, battling it out over the span of nearly a fortnight.

Jannik Sinner is the defending champion at the 2025 ATP Miami Masters. He won the 2024 edition of the tournament by overpowering Grigor Dimitrov 6-3 6-1 in a dominant performance. Unfortunately, the Italian cannot defend his crown due to a suspension. In the men’s doubles category, Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden defeated Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek 6-7(3) 6-3 10-6 to lift the trophy.

The 2025 Miami Masters is a two week long sporting extravaganza. After a gruelling set of qualifying rounds, the main draw kicks off on 19 March 2025. The men’s doubles final happens on Saturday, 29 March 2025 while the men’s singles summit clash takes place on Sunday, 30 March 2025.

ATP Miami Masters 2025 Draw

Alexander Zverev starts as the top seed at the 2025 Miami Open, and receives a bye in Round-1. He will take on the winner of the encounter between Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi and British talent Jacob Fearnley in Round-2. Potential heavyweight clashes with fellow serve machine Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Danish sensation Holger Rune await in the rounds to follow. Reigning Indian Wells champion Jack Draper as well as Taylor Fritz are part of the same half.

Second seed Carlos Alcaraz has also been given a direct entry into Round-2, where he will face either David Goffin or Alexander Vukic. The likes of Grigor Dimitrov and Tommy Paul could pose threats to the Spaniard from Round-4. Novak Djokovic, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev are also in the same half of the draw.
