Champions League Hopefuls Villa Face Distracted Spurs in Crucial Premier League Showdown
Tottenham Hotspur as their last game before the Europa League final will face Aston Villa in the Premier League. Struggling to find form in the English football, Ange Postecoglou and his side will face the hungry Aston Villa who competes for a European spot on the table.
Postecoglou has had a rough season with fans turned on him in recent months. The Australian manager will have a chance to redeem the trust as he heads to face Manchester United in Bilbao next week. But first, the Lilywhites will have to face the chaos at Villa Park given their stellar home form this year around.
Aston Villa will miss out on there starters Youri Tielemans and Marcus Rashford against Tottenha Hotspur. Moreover, Jacob Ramsey will also be sidelined due to suspension in this crucial clash.
Reviewing what he makes of the test against Tottenham, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery acknowledged their success in the Europa League. Mentioning their campaign, Emery in his pre-match interview said:
