Wolves’ Anthony Edwards reportedly asked Michael Jordan for some help

Minnesota Timberwolves star, Anthony Edwards has reached out to Michael Jordan to improve his game amid a frustrating season. Michael Jordan is the NBA legend and he is the right person to discuss the game.

Jordan is already an idol for many NBA stars and Edwards picked him to be a mentor for his revival in the league. Minnesota star was struggling to beat double teams and due to Karl-Anthony Towns and Julius Randle, his minutes were also reduced. However, he is improving and his numbers are getting better since Jordan’s mentorship.

Mark Jones revealed that Edwards met Michael Jordan and learned how to handle some of the double teams. “I was told by someone in his circle that three weeks ago Ant reached out to Michael Jordan on advice on how to handle some of the double teams and traps that he’s seeing. He’s been extremely frustrated up until late,” he said during the show.

Michael Jordan’s wisdom has worked for the two-time All-Star. In his last five games, Edwards is averaging 30.2 points and 6.2 assists per game. He was shooting 14-for-23 against Denver Nuggets on Saturday. It helped Timberwolves, who are 6-4 in last 10 games.
