Angel Reese Hits Back at Candace Parker, Ice Cube Following Remarks Regarding Her Financial Impact

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese hit back at WNBA legend Candace Parker after the former used Reese’s name to promote an episode of her new podcast. Reese’s comment was also targeted towards rapper Ice Cube, who recently took a shot at the 23-year-old’s financial impact in the league and snubbing her for a place in the BIG3 basketball. Reese didn’t take much time and clapped back by dropping a one-liner on her X account.

She wrote, “Clout is one helluva DRUG. like it really gets to a point.” Notably, Cube compared Reese with Caitlin Clark and claimed that the latter’s addition would bring the BIG3 more benefits. He told TMZ, “[Reese] is a great player. The thing about Caitlin Clark was that [it would bring] millions of dollars for the league because of her stardom. That’s what our sponsors were telling us. They didn’t tell us the same thing about Angel Reese. I don’t know if we can make that same offer because it won’t have the same impact on the league. It was nothing personal.”

Later, Candace Park used Reese’s name in the first episode of her new podcast with Aliyah Boston called, “Post Moves”. While promoting the episode in the name of Reese, Parker suggested, she is “in no way, shape or form a hater.”

Former NBA Star Draws Backlash From WNBA Fans Following Caitlin Clark Remark

Former NBA star Jeff-Teague once again put his dislike for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark on display. However, Teague’s remarks drew sharp backlash from fans all across social media. He talked about Clark’s absence from the court due to groin injury and said that the team is better off her. Speaking on the ‘Club 520 Podcast’, he said, “She’s good, but she’s not that good.”

He went on to say that Kelsey Mitchell is the best player on the team and a more important player than Clark. The 2021 champion didn’t go away easily with his comments and had to face severe backlash from Clark’s huge fandom.
