Mahomes praises Reid’s impact

Patrick Mahomes credited much of his personal success to Reid. “(He’s) more than a great coach, he’s just a great person and guys want to play for a guy like that,” Mahomes said. “I owe him a lot of my success. I told him we need to get to 302 this year and then worry about next year.”

Reid is the only NFL coach to win 100 games with two franchises—130 wins with the Philadelphia Eagles and 143 with the Kansas City Chiefs. His longevity and consistency in both organizations highlight his ability to adapt and sustain success.

What’s next for Reid and the Chiefs?

The Chiefs will host the AFC Championship Game next week, facing either the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens. With their sights set on a third consecutive Super Bowl, Reid’s leadership remains critical. If the Chiefs win it all this season, Reid could close the gap on Belichick’s playoff record as early as next year.
