Adrian Wojnarowski auctions off his old iPhone devices to raise NIL money

According to reports, Adrian Wojnarowski has initiated an auction for multiple iPhone devices used during his NBA journalism.

Adrian Wojnarowski, former NBA journalist, also known as “Woj”, retired from journalism in September, 2024. His new role was a General Manager of the men’s basketball program, St. Bonaventure University, also his alma matter. He overseas name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for the program, recruitment and alumni relations.

According to reports, Adrian Wojnarowski has initiated an auction for multiple iPhone devices used during his NBA journalism to report breaking news. A person experience include bidding on a video call and a dinner with him. Some of his credentials used while reporting, 2024 and 2021 NBA Finals, 2023 NBA Draft and his ESPN ID badge.

According to Bleacher Report, the auction will raise money for St. Bonaventure Bonnies MBB’s NIL fund. The auction ends on March 3, 2025, and bidders have placed multiple bids on the collectibles. However, we will have to wait and see who places the highest bid for the dinner and video call.

The team is currently 19-9 ahead of their road game against St. Joseph’s Hawks. They have an 11-3 record on their home ground and sit seventh in the conference as they prepare for an important matchup against the Hawks.”

Bidders have already placed multiple bids on Wojnarowski’s collectibles.

Adrian Wojnarowski is auctioning four of his iPhone devices used during his NBA journalism. Some of the iPhones include, An iPhone used to tweet his farewell and an iPhone to report the trade of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers.

However, someone has placed the highest bid on the iPhone used to report the suspension of the COVID season. Some of his credentials have also received bids such as a $400 bid on his 2024 NBA Draft credential, $300 bid on his 2024 NBA credentials and $150 on his 2023 NBA All-Star credential.
