Serie A leaders AC Milan are set to welcome bottom-placed Pisa to San Siro on Friday. They’ll be aiming to build on their unbeaten run and extend their advantage at the summit. The Rossoneri’s recent comeback win against Fiorentina has further strengthened their growing confidence.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side have been in strong form. They’re currently unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions. With Rafael Leao rediscovering his scoring touch and Luka Modric orchestrating play in midfield, Milan appear well-poised to claim a fourth straight home win.

Despite a lengthy injury list, AC Milan enter the game as clear favourites. Christian Pulisic, Adrien Rabiot, Pervis Estupinan and Ardon Jashari remain unavailable. Meanwhile, Ruben Loftus-Cheek continues to recover from a muscular issue and has been training separately.
However, Christopher Nkunku could make his return after missing the Fiorentina clash due to a toe injury which he sustained during his international duty. Allegri is expected to rely on Rafael Leao and Santiago Gimenez in attack, with Modric pulling the strings in midfield.

Pisa are headinf to San Siro still searching for their first league win since promotion. They will hope for a breakthrough against daunting opposition. Idrissa Toure will return from suspension and should reclaim his role on the right flank. Whereas, Calvin Stengs, Tomas Esteves, and Mateus Lusuardi remain sidelined through injury.
The latter is facing a long spell out until 2026. Head coach Alberto Gilardino is likely to persist with the struggling front duo of M’Bala Nzola and Stefano Moreo. They should be supported by Inter loanee Ebenezer Akinsanmiro in midfield, as Pisa look to spark life into their campaign.
AC Milan head into this fixture riding a seven-match unbeaten run. They recently secured a dramatic 2-1 win against Fiorentina thanks to two goals from Rafael Leao. Their opponents, Pisa, meanwhile, have been porous at the back and are yet to register a win this season. Milan are expected to dominate at the San Siro and Pisa are arriving with only three goals to their name from seven matches. Hence, a comfortable win with multiple goals seems plausible and supports the over 2.5 goal option.
Rafael Leao has rediscovered his scoring touch at just the right time. It offers a strong case for backing him to score anytime. In the 2-1 win over Fiorentina, he scored both the equaliser and the winning penalty. Milan’s attack is clearly sharper now and Leao is central to it. Pisa’s defensive struggles and lack of goal output make them vulnerable to a player of his calibre. Taking him to score anytime at +115 looks like a worthwhile bet given his current form and the matchup.
While Leao grabs the headlines, veteran midfielder Luka Modric is influencing games from deeper and providing the creative spark. Given Milan’s possession-dominated style and their expectation to control proceedings, Modric is well placed to either score or provide an assist. He’s been pulling the strings in midfield. With Pisa offering little resistance in attack, the Croatian’s involvement in a goal seems probable. Booking him at +110 for a goal contribution seems to be good bet.

Pisa are winless, scoreless in their recent outings and have conceded regularly. Milan, on the other hand, have won six of their last seven and have kept multiple clean sheets.
Expect Milan to dominate from go-to-go, create multiple chances and convert at least three while maintaining defensive solidity. Given the Rossoneri’s momentum, home advantage and the mismatched nature of the contest, a 3-0 scoreline looks most likely.
