Aaron Rodgers Just Dropped a Hint on Where He Might Play Next!

Eric Divakaran

This 2025 offseason has seen its fair share of quarterback drama, and Aaron Rodgers, after his new york jets this offseason, has been at the center of all kinds of speculation. Initially, reports emerged of a visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which was mixed emotions when it came to the Steelers fans. There were some that were excited, but there were also others that weren’t. Rodgers, though he’s one of the greatest of all time, is old, and with that comes questions about if he can still lead a team to the playoffs, as he hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2021. In the end, the contract was not signed with the Steelers, and we wondered which team was next.

Then, another team emerged, as Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett talked about a possibility of a big-time quarterback joining the team. This mysterious prospect, however, never arrived and Garrett’s words never came to fruition. The Browns rather opted to address their quarterback needs through NFL draft, bringing in young talent than pursuing established veterans like Rodgers.

Rodgers Hinted at his Next Destination

Despite the various rumors and visits, Aaron Rodgers himself recently offered a huge hint about his potential landing spot for next season. During a public appearance and Q&A session in Austin, Texas, a young fan directly asked Rodgers if he would ever sign with the Chicago Bears. Rodgers’ response to her question was a firm “No,” but then added that, “But I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip.” When a fan from the crowd shouted, “which team,” Rodgers replied, “I don’t know.” He then lightheartedly said, “I love Chicago though. Way more than they love me. It’s been a great relationship. All one way.”

This comment has fueled a lot of speculation, particularly pointing towards Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are scheduled to play a game on the road against the Bears in Week 12, which may align with Rodgers’ interests. However, nothing can be taken way too seriously for now as the Bears will also play Detroit, Dallas, New Orleans, Cleveland, Minnesota, Green Bay, and New York Giants on the road, along with Pittsburgh. Out of all the teams listed, the Steelers looks like the obvious choice for Rodgers, but one can never fully know.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
