Nicolas Jackson Transfer: Manchester United Offer Garnacho to Chelsea Amid Villa Interest

Swap deal stirs as United target Jackson with Villa interested.

As the summer transfer window of 2025 progresses, Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has emerged as a prime target for Manchester United. With the Red Devils escalating their efforts to strengthen their attacking lineup, Ruben Amorim has identified Jackson’s potential and is willing to offer more than the transfer fees.

In the latest reports, Manchester United has offered their Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea. Willing to replace Rasmus Hojlund, United has shifted its focus from Viktor Gyokeres after the failed pursuit. Jackson who is valued at around £100 million is predicted to be pursued with a swap deal by Amorim and his team.

Manchester United’s Interest in Nicolas Jackson

Recent reports from Transfer News Live indicate that Manchester United are keen on securing Jackson’s services. Chelsea’s stance on Jackson has shifted following the arrivals of João Pedro and Liam Delap. Reducing his status, the Senegalese forward could head for an exit from Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season.

Amorim who struggled for goals in the 2024/25 season aims to sign a sharpshooter. With Hojlung and Joshua Zirkzee failing to meet the standards of consistency, the Portuguese manager will compete for Jackson with several clubs like Aston Villa and AC Milan.

Aston Villa currently managed by Jackson’s former boss Unai Emery are also in the race. With reports suggesting a potential counter-bid involving Villa’s Morgan Rogers, Emery is keen on securing the striker. Additionally, AC Milan was also linked with the striker, though the deal is off due to the high price tag.

Despite concerns over his disciplinary record, Jackson possesses a natural threat in front of the goal. If they fit into Amorim’s system, playing around players like Bruno Fernandes could give the Red Devils a boost they’re looking for. However, Jackson’s high price tag could prove difficult if Chelsea opt out of the swap deal.
