Iga Swiatek’s box at Wimbledon 2025 will be filled with familiar faces who’ve been key to her journey: coach Wim Fissette, psychologist Daria Abramowicz, physiotherapist Maciej Ryszcuk, friend and hitting partner Tomek Moczek, father Tomasz Swiatek, and agent Jules Mercier. Each has played a vital role in her growth both on and off the court.
Swiatek’s coaches, who will be present at today’s Wimbledon final, include coach Wim Fissette, psychologist Daria Abramowicz, and physiotherapist Maciej Ryszcuk.
Swiatek has praised Fissette, saying he is “very supportive.” She added, “Being on the women’s tour isn’t easy. When most of the coaches are men, they need to also understand what we go through sometimes. Wim does that well.”

Abramowicz has worked closely with Swiatek since her teenage years. In an interview with Tennis Majors, she said, “She is aware of the importance of psychology.” She continued, “Even on her worst day, she is open-minded and able to process things. She is always ready to learn.” As per Reuters, Swiatek has said, “Daria is a constant support for me, a person I trust.”
Her strength and conditioning coach, Maciej Ryszcuk, emphasized their long-term approach. In an interview with Tennis Majors, he said, “I told her when we started that she could be tired during the tournaments, but it’s fine because we’re going to build through that year for the future. We’re not in the short-term, it’s not a sprint, it’s really a long-term view.”
Today, her father, Tomasz Swiatek, will be present to support her from the box. A former Olympian, he competed in the men’s quadruple sculls at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Iga has often credited him as the reason she picked up a tennis racquet in the first place.

mma I’m an academic turned sports writer from Raipur, India, specializing in the NFL, MMA, and tennis at The Playoffs. I previously wrote for Sportskeeda and hold a B.A. and M.A. in History. My journey into sports media began far from the field, rooted in the arts and sciences. Funny enough, I didn’t grow up a sports fan; I used to see it all as just noise. But a fateful writing job introduced me to the world of sports, and what began as a gig quickly became a passion. I understood those voices aren’t noise; they’re emotions of true sports fans, and now I am one of them, writing with the same energy I once questioned.
