Garnacho Edges Closer to Man Utd Exit as Napoli Return With £45m Bid

Manchester United could finally part ways with Alejandro Garnacho after Napoli reignited their interest in the 20-year-old winger. The Serie A champions, who previously saw a £60 million bid rejected in January, are now back at the table with a new offer believed to be around £45 million.

Garnacho’s Fallout Sparks Exit Talks

Tensions between Garnacho and United boss Ruben Amorim have escalated in recent weeks. The Argentine winger is one of five players—including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia—who have been instructed to stay away from first-team pre-season training following requests to leave the club. This public fallout has weakened United’s negotiating position and made a sale this summer more likely.

Though United have publicly valued Garnacho at £60 million, the club is aware that a lower fee may need to be accepted due to the deteriorating relationship between player and manager, and the clear intent to offload the winger.

Napoli Rebuild in Full Swing

Napoli see Garnacho as a long-term attacking option and a key part of their rebuilding process following a disappointing title defence. The Italian giants are planning an ambitious project, having already secured Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer and welcomed former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, who was named Serie A’s Player of the Season.
