The New York Giants are the frontrunners by a massive margin to land John Harbaugh as their next head coach, according to the latest odds. This could be an ideal situation for both parties as the Giants are looking to bounce back and get back to postseason play, while at the same time, it would provide Harbaugh a fresh new start.

New York is anything but ready to challenge for the postseason, but it showed this season that there is potential to succeed. Jaxson Dart is an emerging talent and one who could remain the franchise quarterback for years to come. Cam Skattebo looked set to have a great rookie season until injury forced him out, and then there is still Malik Nabers due to return.

They have a decent defense and D-line that has the potential to dominate, so there is enough in New York for Harbaugh to like. Moreover, the NFC East just saw the Commanders’ massive decline, and the Cowboys are still a work in progress.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins showing up as the second top odds for Harbaugh’s next coaching job is certainly surprising, given the fact that Miami hasn’t yet let go of Mike McDaniel. As per reports, Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross believes in McDaniel and is willing to continue with his current head coach.

Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta could be another ideal place for Harbaugh to go. The Falcons have a decent roster led by a veteran and a young quarterback. Of course, the starting quarterback situation is a little rocky at the moment, but it’s nothing Harbaugh can’t handle.
