Tom Brady Stays Neutral- Won’t Pick Sides in Epic Buccaneers vs Patriots Week 10 Showdown on Sunday

Eric Divakaran

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, marks a nostalgic clash in Tampa as the Buccaneers vs Patriots action takes place in Week 10. The game pits Tom Brady’s two former teams against each other, the franchise he built into a dynasty over 20 seasons and the one he capped his career with in a three-year championship run.

The Buccaneers vs Patriots matchup features two of the best teams in the NFL this season. Tampa, whose record’s 6-2 for the season, is coming fresh off a bye-week, previously defeating the Saints in a dominating fashion with the final score of 3-23. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots have all the momentum going into this game as they have won six straight games, closely defeating the Falcons last week. It’s the battle of QBs as Baker Mayfield takes on the second year QB Drake Maye, in this epic Week 10 showdown.

Tom Brady Refuses to Pick Sides in Week 10’s Buccaneers vs Patriots Clash

The seven-time Super Bowl champion stayed neutral when pressed for a prediction during his weekly power rankings reveal. “We’ve got two teams who might feel like they have something to prove,” Brady said. “Yeah, I like that. And that usually results in a great football game. Just don’t ask me to pick any sides here.” He slotted New England at No.6 and Tampa Bay at No.3, behind only Buffalo and Philadelphia. Having won six titles with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers, Brady cited equal allegiance to both teams.

Tom Brady Might Lean Slight Towards New England in Week 10’s Buccaneers vs Patriots Action

While Tom Brady refused to pick sides, light-heartedly, we believe that he leans slightly towards New England. His 20-year Patriots tenure producing six Super Bowls, three MVP awards, and 14 Pro Bowl nods, cemented the greatest dynasty in NFL history. To add further, Brady also has a bronze statue outside Gillette Stadium which immortalizes his legacy. In contrast, his three seasons in Tampa delivered on Lombardi Trophy before retirement. While Brady voices impartiality, his deeper roots and unmatched success in New England subtly favor the visitors in the sentimental Buccaneers vs Patriots showdown.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
